HI, it's NICE TO MEET YOU!
I am a researcher and strategist based in Los Angeles.
I was born in Hong Kong and raised in a small Michigan town, which made bridging cultural and generational gaps my first talent. Growing up, I was drawn to people who were curious and made space for the unfamiliar. Their principles of exploration and empathy were instilled in me and continue to drive my research today.
The need to satisfy my curiosity led me to kickstart my career in Shanghai, where I resided and worked for 6 years. During this time, I refined my qualitative and quantitative research skills within several agencies, to then quickly leading global research and strategy for clients such as Nike, Meta/IG, and Coca-Cola.
In 2017, I returned to the US and now live in sunny Los Angeles ☀️. Since then I've assumed a pivotal role in starting up and co-leading a cultural insights studio. My most recent position at Nike focused on global consumer insights where I developed audience and market strategies which increased sales and awareness.
I am currently getting a UX design certification to apply my curious and strategic mindset into thinking up the next great product!
